Biography
Dr. Giffin is a general obstetrician and gynecologist who currently provides both gynecological and obstetrical care to the Guelph community. She is part of the obstetrical call group at Guelph General Hospital where she works on the labour unit and also operates on patients with gynecological conditions at Guelph General Hospital.
Dr. Giffin received her medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 2009. She then moved to Hamilton to do her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University and completed her residency in 2015. She worked as an obstetrician and gynecologist in Oshawa for three years before relocating to Guelph where she has worked since 2018. She is an Assistant Professor with McMaster University and is involved with teaching medical students and residents. She has an interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
