Terms of the Position
- Terms: Full-time, permanent position
- Hours: 37.5 hours/week
- Overtime may be required depending on business and patient needs
- Rotational work required on weekends
- May be required to work on long weekends or holidays as required
- Wage: $350,000-$550,000/year, depending on experience
- Benefits:
- 20 days paid vacation per year

Skills and Experience Requirements
- Education and Licensing:
- Medical degree
- Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice medicine in Ontario
- Minimum Experience Requirements:
- At least five years of clinical experience in reproductive medicine
- Completed fellowship in reproductive endocrinology or obstetrics and gynecology, or possess similar post-graduate training and experience in obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, reproductive medicine, infertility or a similar field
- Medical/surgical experience in all areas of reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technology
- Strong expertise and experience in in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other assisted reproductive technology-related procedures such as ICSI, ovarian stimulation and others
- Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support or eligible to obtain certification
- Demonstrate a track record of excellence in clinical care, excellent patient care, and a commitment to career development
- Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of fertility treatments, procedures and medication
- Solid understanding of third-party reproduction
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards in the fertility field
- Knowledge of state of the art medical scientific and treatment methods in the area of fertility specialty
- Experience and knowledge of LGTBQIA2S+, multi-ethnic and community-based clinic environments
- Proficient with MS Office, EMR software and virtual meeting technologies
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills

Job Duties
Consultation and Treatment
- Conduct in-office or virtual patient consultations and assessments, perform physical examinations an diagnostic testing, and recommend testing of patients of all genders to identify potential causes of infertility
- Review and discuss results of testing with patients, advise patients on suitable treatment options and prescribe medication where necessary
- Manage patient care, including providing all consultations and follow ups and testing, setting up treatment plans and performing procedures and treatments, including complex procedures including egg retrievals and embryo transfers
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, embryologists, laboratory technicians and administrative staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patience care
- Determine and document protocols for all patients
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and peer review sessions to analyze cases, share knowledge, and enhance treatment strategies
- Communicate effectively with patients and provide clear and compassionate explanation of diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedures
- Act as liaison between patients and other healthcare providers, facilitating referrals, second opinions, and coordinated care when necessary
Education and Training
- Stay current on advancements in reproductive medicine, fertility treatments, and related medical fields through continuous professional development, including attending conferences, workshops, and seminars
- Mentor and supervise junior physicians, residents, medical students, and other healthcare trainees to enhance their clinical skills and professional growth
- Develop and participate in training programs for clinical staff to ensure high standards of patient care and procedural competency
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues by presenting at internal meetings, participating in journal clubs, and contributing to educational sessions
- Meet continuing medical education requirements of CPSO, SOGC, and CFAS
- Attend staff meetings and company events, as directed by CEO
Research and Development
- Engage in clinical research projects to advance field and improve patient outcomes, including designing studies, recruiting participants, and collecting data
- Contribute to development of innovative treatment methods, technologies, and clinical practices by translating findings into clinical practice
- Publish research findings in reputable peer-reviewed medical journals and present at professional conferences to disseminate knowledge
- Collaborate with research institutions and other clinics on joint research initiatives, sharing insights and expertise
Administration
- Maintain records related to all services rendered and document interactions
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
- Participate in clinic management meetings, policy development, and decision-making processes that impact clinic operations and patient care
- Assist in development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, clinical efficiency, and overall clinic performance
- Participate in budgeting and resource allocation discussions, providing input on staffing needs, equipment purchases, and other operational considerations
