Dr. Chloé Roumain
Dr. Chloe Roumain attended Union College in upstate New York where she graduated with a BSc in Biology and Psychology, followed by a doctorate of Medicine at McGill University in Montreal. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Université de Montréal, where she specialized in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Hôpital Saint-Luc du CHUM in Montreal, Quebec.
Dr. Roumain has most recently been running her practice as an Affiliated Physician at Markham Fertility Centre, seeing patients for Infertility, Gynecology, as well as Obstetrics. As a result of all their educational, professional and community outreach experience, Dr. Roumain and her husband have been able to achieve their dream of opening their own Fertility Clinic, Tripod Fertility, in Toronto, ON.
She is currently a member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC), the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, the Quebec Medical Association, the Ontario Medical Association, and the Canadian Medical Association, and is also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Through the SOGC’s International Women’s Health Program, Dr. Roumain travels to Haiti regularly with her husband, also an obstetrician-gynecologist, to educate and train health professionals and medical students on the international standards of maternal and perinatal health. She is fluent in English, French and Creole and functional in Spanish.
