
Dr. Ashley Gilman
Dr. Gilman obtained her medical degree at the University of Toronto and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (FRCSC) at the University of British Columbia. She then went on to complete a two-year Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada accredited fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at McGill University. She has received numerous awards throughout her training including the Excellence in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Award at McGill University as well as the AAGL Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award and the Ray Vaughn Award from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Gilman is a caring and compassionate physician who aims to work together with her patients to help them achieve their goals while understanding and being educated about their treatment.

What tip do you often share with patients who are just starting their fertility journey? | Don’t stress about being stressed! Struggling with fertility is a stressful time for the majority of our patients. We are here to do our best to relieve stress but many people still feel stressed dealing with infertilty and then become more stressed about the fact that they are stressed – my advice is always – do what you can to reduce stress but don’t stress about being stressed! |
